Vincent “Trey” Tumminello is a Partner with Taylor Porter, where he practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, sports law, and real estate. His work has included representing buyers and sellers in sales of company assets, membership interests, stock, and real estate. He also has experience in commercial litigation, general litigation, and foreclosures. His work has spanned the stages of electronic discovery, dispositive motions, pre-trial motions, writ applications, appeals, and settlements. Trey has been ranked by his peers among the Louisiana Rising Stars in Business & Corporate Law. Trey is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, in federal court in Louisiana.
Trey received his J.D. in 2013 from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he participated in the Moot Court Board and served as Secretary of the Vanderbilt Alternative Dispute Resolution Organization from 2011-2012. He earned his B.A. in 2010 from the University of Notre Dame, and he currently serves as the President of the Notre Dame Club of South Louisiana.

- Represented a selling manufacturer in a $40 million equity sale.
- Represented buying and selling fuel and lubricants distributors in numerous asset sales.
- Represented the buyers in the asset sale of a veterinary business.
- Represented several companies in negotiating and drafting Name, Image, and Likeness agreements with student-athlete.
- Organizing business entities in a variety of industries.
- Negotiating and drafting asset purchase agreements, stock sale agreements, loan and security documents, master service agreements, and conducting title examinations.
- Representing clients in negotiating commercial leases, including in representation of banking clients – drafting promissory notes, security agreements, mortgage.
- Assisting in loan workouts, including through foreclosure and bankruptcy.
- Drafting contracts for coaches and athletics administrators.
- Representing clients in sales and purchase of commercial real estate.
- Representing an oil and gas distributor in acquisition of assets, including real estate and bulk plants, and collections in their contractual disputes.

- Representing a state university in student discipline cases, including the analysis of constitutional due process issues.
