Taylor Porter was a proud Gold Sponsor of the 12th annual Baton Rouge Children's Advocacy Center Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser, held July 18, at L'Auberge Casino and Hotel, as LSU coaches, former athletes, law enforcement officials and other local celebrities came together to raise money for a great cause. The event raised more than $100,000 to help serve abused children throughout the capital region.
Serving Abused Children in East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, and West Baton Rouge Parishes, the BRCAC provides children and their families a solid path to healing and justice through efficient, coordinated and trauma-informed child focused services in the aftermath of abuse or violent crime.
Since Taylor Porter's founding in 1912 when co-founder B.B. Taylor helped launch Baton Rouge's first YMCA, Taylor Porter has embraced the role of “corporate citizen” and continued for more than 105 years a strong tradition of community service throughout our City, supporting more than 50 community and nonprofit organizations.
