Grant Willis joined Taylor Porter in 2024 as Special Counsel practicing primarily in federal civil rights litigation, investigations, white-collar defense and criminal defense including tax, insurance fraud, and public corruption.
He has experience handling investigations, preparing indictments, prosecuting criminal cases, trying cases before juries, drafting appellate pleadings, and arguing before courts of appeal, including the Louisiana Supreme Court. Grant has litigated complex cases from investigatory and discovery stage through the trial and settlement stage in both state and federal courts. In addition, he has nearly 10-years of experience working as a prosecutor for the Louisiana Department of Justice and Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Willis received his J.D. from the Loyola University School of Law. In addition, he received his Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University Leiden School of Law in the Netherlands.
Grant is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
Mr. Willis is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Louisiana State University School of Law.
