Taylor Porter Elects New Partner

Taylor Porter is pleased to announce that Leah Canaday Cook was elected to the partnership effective January 1, 2024.

Leah Canaday Cook practices in various areas of commercial litigation, construction law, environmental law, and appellate practice. Leah is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, and in the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana. Ms. Cook received her J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2017.

In the community, Leah serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Charles W. Lamar Jr. YMCA, which has served Baton Rouge and surrounding communities since 1917, and offers various programs and services with a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
